By creating an account or using Bookmarked, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The Service
Bookmarked helps readers manage a private reading shelf, follow books, authors, and series, receive release alerts, import library exports, and request missing catalog items. Features may change as the app evolves.
Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. Use accurate account information and contact support if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Acceptable Use
Do not use Bookmarked to:
- Break the law or violate another person's rights.
- Interfere with the app, API, infrastructure, or other users.
- Upload malicious files or attempt to bypass security controls.
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute catalog data in a way that violates third-party rights.
- Submit abusive, misleading, or spam catalog requests.
Catalog Data
Bookmarked may display book metadata, cover images, descriptions, release dates, author names, and series information from third-party sources or curated data. Catalog data can be incomplete or inaccurate. Release alerts are informational and are not guaranteed.
User Content
You keep ownership of information you submit, such as catalog requests, notes, and imported shelf data. You give Bookmarked permission to process that information so the app can provide its features.
Availability
We aim to keep Bookmarked reliable, but the service may be interrupted, changed, or unavailable from time to time. The app is provided as is and without guarantees that it will be error-free or continuously available.
Account Deletion
You can delete your account from Settings in the app. Deletion removes your authentication identity and app data associated with your account, subject to limited retention for operational logs, backups, security, or legal obligations.
Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Bookmarked is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of the app.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service changes. The latest terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
